The City of Henderson Department of Utility Services joins more than a thousand organizations from across the country on Oct. 21 as part of the sixth annual Imagine a Day Without Water campaign, a nationwide day of education and advocacy about the value of water.

To highlight the critical importance of reliable access to clean drinking water, the City hosted an art contest for children ages 5-12 years enrolled in the City’s Battle Born Kids youth program using the theme Imagine a Day Without Water.

Winners were selected based on creativity and their understanding of what the world would be like without the availability of water. Winners represent each of three age groups at four of the City’s Battle Born locations.
