LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — While working today on the east side of Las Vegas Clark County School District Police Department (CCSDPD) officers saw 2 children sitting on the side of the road near a van.

CCSDPD officer K. Pinto and Officer A. Beatty spoke with the family who they learned recently became homeless.

The family has been living out of their van for the past two weeks.

The officers provided the family with two new car seats for the children.

Officer J Trujillo, a certified CPS car seat tech, helped out by installing both seats with the assistance of Officer I. Campos.
