Airport officials say 3.7 million travelers flew in and out of Las Vegas in November, an increase of 10 percent from the same month a year ago.

McCarran International Airport statistics released Wednesday show the destination's traffic by air is up more than 5 percent for the year with one month left. So far, 41.7 million arriving and departing passengers have used the airport this year.

Traffic was up for all but one of the airport's top five airlines based on passengers. United Airlines saw 3.2 percent fewer passengers. The number of seats the airline offers weekly was down half a percent.

Discount airline Sprit Air saw the biggest increase, with its passenger numbers jumping nearly 19 percent in the month.
