New breastfeeding pods at McCarran Airport in Las Vegas are sparking a conversation about the need for more places for moms to comfortably nurse.

It's the most natural way to feed your baby, yet videos still pop up on social media showing moms being confronted while they're breastfeeding in public.

Even mothers here in Las Vegas say they get stares and confrontation as well.

"I started breastfeeding and people were all staring at me not wanting to eat no more [sic]," said one mother, Kristina Canaris.

"If it makes you uncomfortable look away, but keep it to yourself," said another mom, Sarah Pedley.

Some mothers we spoke to say they're aren't many places in the valley to feed their kids, aside from the bathroom and their cars.

Until now - McCarran has taken the first steps making breastfeeding easier for traveling moms.

The airport has three breastfeeding pods equipped with a bench, fold-down table, and electrical outlet. Local moms say they hope more places across the valley will take steps in helping them and their babies feel more comfortable.
