United Blood Services is hosting a blood drive this weekend at Rampart Casino.
Donors of all types are needed. The drive continues from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
"We're hoping that the blood that we collect in the next couple of days will help us impact the lives of at least 700 people in the community," said Laura Alvarado, donor recruitment representative. "People who are in the hospitals, right now waiting for that life-saving transfusion or people who may end up in a situation where they're gonna need that blood replacement."
