LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — 13 Action News Vice President and General Manager Chris Way presented a $5,000 check on behalf of the Scripps Howard Foundation to a Las Vegas nonprofit that is helping Nevadans.
The Foundation for an Independent Tomorrow or FIT is a local nonprofit that helps locals get jobs, job training, and vocational scholarships.
13 Action News presents check to Public Education Foundation for Chromebooks
KTNV ABC 13 was allowed to choose a nonprofit that needed a little extra help.
The organization says it is expanding its services, with many people out of work amid the pandemic, and 13 Action News wanted to assist.
