LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — ProteinHouse is adjusting to a new normal after closing its dining room during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The restaurant is practicing social distancing by having customers stand six feet apart when picking up their orders inside.
Andrew Bick, owner and president of ProteinHouse, says their motto is "eat with purpose" and they plan to continue to do that through the pandemic.
Tough times have called for change. The restaurant is now only operating through takeout and delivery orders.
Bick says business is down nearly 65% and they have reduced their hours and cut some staff.
ProteinHouse is giving out a 25% discount to all orders placed online or a free shake or juice next time customers come in and make an in-store pickup.
Bick also says he introduced a new drink to the menu to help boost your immunity system.
"It's really beneficial now to eat healthy and boost your immune system," he said. "That's going to be your best defense against the virus."
Bick hopes for the best and believes Las Vegas will recover.
Protein House is located on 9555 S Eastern Ave #125, Las Vegas, NV 89123.
