Teshi Thomas is only 14, but already a Broadway actress and radio host.
Teshi is a professional actress who booked a lead part for the Broadway production of The Lion King, but has now made it her mission to fight bullying across Las Vegas.
Her radio program is WBKE’s “Bullybusters”. It's hosted by kids with an emphasis on addressing bullying, taking call-in interviews from children around the country to share stories, build awareness of the issue itself and encourage other young listeners.
Between travel for acting and hosting radio, Teshi is unable to attend traditional school. She’s enrolled with Nevada Virtual Academy, an online public charter school.
It’s standardized public education that isn’t constrained to a bell schedule, so Teshi can complete assignments on her own schedule and during travel time.
