We've seen the video: "Get away from my kayak." "Come here!" "Stop it bear! Bear! Bear! Bear!"

The YouTube clip has racked up more than 4 million hits after Mary Maley posted a video of herself yelling at a curious black bear as it attacked her kayak in Alaska.

Newsnet5.com sat down with the star of the viral video to talk about the Internet's reaction to her attempt at saving her kayak.

In the YouTube video, Mary can be heard shouting at the bear.

"Thank you for leaving my kayak alone," said Mary.  “Go away. Get away from the kayak. Get away from the kayak. Come here. Why are you breaking my kayak?”

The bear approached her, but was deterred by bear spray. Instead of running away, the bear destroyed her kayak.

"The reason she was so upset, she had saved for two years," said Ruth Maley.

Mary recorded the encounter.

"I didn’t think it would launch me into YouTube celebrity,” said Mary.

Mary said she recorded the incident, because she was hoping the company that made her kayak would see it online and offer instructions on how to repair the damage, or replace it.

Maley said the company offered her a new kayak.
