A bottle of Martinelli's Apple Cider helped stop an armed robber in Washington.
Gerald and Stacey Ellis noticed a light in one of their cars was on and realized a man was inside a vehicle, KXLY in Spokane reported.
When the suspect, later identified as Samual A. Clopton, took off running, KXLY reported Gerald tackled him to the ground.
The suspect then pulled out a BB gun and fired a shot toward the couple. Stacey disarmed him by hitting him over the head with the bottle of Martinelli's, according to KXLY.
