A West Virginia single mom's Facebook post about motherhood has gone viral.
Aly Brothers shared a selfie that she snapped after breaking down in her car because it had been a rough day.
Brothers wrote:
"This motherhood. No fancy filters, no good lighting, no new lipstick. It's messy hair that's wet from the rain, yesterday's makeup that I was too tired to wash off, and tears. Motherhood is HARD. Single-motherhood is HARD."
Apparently, her two young children began acting up during a quick trip to the grocery store.
She says that other people in the store glared at her as she attempted to keep her kids under control. She felt that everyone was judging her and began crying at the cash register.
Brothers ended her post by asking people to say something nice and not glare if they observe a mother in her situation.
