Police in Overland Park, Kansas say a thief used an unlikely tool to rip off a local boutique.
According to investigators, she had a child distract the employees while she stuffed $500 worth of dresses into her purse.
One of the employees said the child distracted them by asking a lot of questions.
Police say it's not uncommon for shoplifters to have children with them, but it is unusual for a child to actually help.
