Janissa Valdez says she was trying to avoid a fight with a fellow student.
Cell phone video shows school resource officer, Joshua Kehm pick her up and slam her to the ground.
Janissa still has bruises and is suffering from headaches and dizziness.
Officer Kehm has been placed on administrative leave and is cooperating with the investigation.
