LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — People across the country have been reporting receiving packages of seeds in the mail from China and now the Nevada Department of Agriculture is issuing a warning.
The NDA says that it is coordinating with federal and state partners to determine necessary follow-up for those that received such shipments.
They are asking people not to plant the seeds because of potential harm.
People have reported that the packages from China are often labeled as jewelry.
Agriculture departments in 30 states have issued warnings, according to USA Today.
