Didn't recognize everyone at the Billboard Music Awards? No worries, we got you covered with our handy guide:

Z LaLa

Z LaLa is an Armenian-American signer known for electro-pop songs like "Navigation Nightclub" and "Flyaway." She also sings in several dozen languages, including sign language. Though most people probably just know her as someone who dresses in really, really weird outfits at award shows

BTS

This is BTS, a Korean Pop group that dominates social media. They've spent 24 weeks at the top of Billboard's Social 50 chart, which ranks artists based on their social media following and weekly song plays online. Some of their big hits include "Not Today" and "Spring Day."

Billy Ray Cyrus

Billy Ray Cyrus is known for the country smash hit "Achy Breaky Heart," though younger generations probably recognize him as Miley Cyrus' dad. The whole Cyrus family attended the Billboard Music Awards to cheer on Miley as she performed her new single "Malibu" on stage.

Daymond John

Fans of the TV show "Shark Tank" probably recognize Daymond John as one of the Sharks. For those that don't know, "Shark Tank" is a reality show on ABC where entrepreneurs pitch their ideas in front of five business titans, who then decide whether or not to invest money into the idea.

DJ Khaled

DJ Khaled is known for his collaborative works with other artists. (For example, his biggest hit "I'm The One" features Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance The Rapper, and Lil Wayne, all in the same song.) He's also known for having the greatest Snapchat account of all time

Dencia

Dencia is a Cameroonaian/Nigerian singer, known for her hit "Beri Beri." She's more infamously known for her skin-whitening cream called "Whitenicious." She told Ebony in an interview that the cream was intended to be used on minor spots and blemishes, though critics say the name implies that white skin is preferable to black skin.
