Protesters in Texas are accusing a local police department of brutality involving a black teenager. The accusations were made after a video of a fight between two teenagers in Jacinto was released on Friday.
The video shows 17-year-old Lee Hagan repeatedly punching another teenager on the ground.
Hagan is claiming that he stopped punching the other teen and backed away when the police officer arrived. However, you can see the police officer make a beeline for Hagan and appear to shove the teen backwards.
The teenager is then wrestled to the ground.
The police chief of the Jacinto City Police is defending his officer, according to ABC 13.
The Blaze is reporting that the teenager received 6 stitches as a result of the incident.
The incident is under investigation.
