Video shows man rescued from canal in Utah

A Utah Highway Patrol trooper recently helped rescue a man from a canal after his car crashed.

The man had crashed into a canal in northern Utah and his vehicle was quickly filling up with water. The trooper entered into the water and got the man out of the vehicle.

The man's legs had been pinned between the dashboard and seat, according to KUTV 2. Officials said he had two broken legs.

The trooper also had help from the Box Elder Sheriff's Office and the Fielding, Utah Fire Department.
