A selfie taken during a family vacation has saved a Texas man from a possible prison sentence.
Last year, Christopher Precopia was arrested and accused of breaking into his ex-girlfriend's home and stabbing her.
His parents were forced to pay more than $100,000 to get him released from jail.
After 9 months of trying to clear his name, Precopia's mother realized that they were on a family vacation at the time of the incident and had posted a photo on Facebook.
Prosecutors have dropped the charges against Precopia and are trying to decide if the ex-girlfriend should face charges.
