TSA mistakenly tells passengers marijuana is allowed on flights

Posted

TSA had some major explaining to do after mistakenly posting marijuana as an acceptable substance for travel on their website.

Marijuana is legal for recreational use in several states, but TSA is federally regulated, which means that the air is still a "no smoke zone."

TSA quickly recognized the mistake, with the help of a few overjoyed marijuana smokers, and corrected the error.

Luckily, TSA was able to fix their mistake before  it caused major confusion on 4/20.
