A Texas coach who was trying to teach a young boy a lesson may have taken it too far.

He's been accused of throwing a ball at the 8-year-old boy's face, resulting in hearing loss.

Lawrence's mom says the coach called her and admitted to throwing the ball at her son.

The coach told the mother that Lawrence had intentionally targeted another student while playing dodgeball. So, he threw the ball at the child and said "This is how it feels."

The coach did apologize, but the mother is not satisfied. She wants him to be fired.
