Texas, Louisiana top study of worst drivers in America

Nevada is in the top 10

Nevada may not have the worst drivers in America but according to one study, it's near the top.

According to CarInsuranceComparison.com, Texas and Louisiana are tied for the worst, followed by South Carolina, North Dakota and Delaware. Nevada comes in 7th on the list.

The study looks at information from the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration, which includes traffic deaths, how well people follow traffic signals and use their seat belt, drunk driving, speeding and distracted driving.

Nevada ranked 29th for failure to obey but 4th for careless driving, due to the high number of deaths on the roads, according to the study. Nevada also ranked 8th for drunk driving.

The study found Minnesota had the best drivers in America.
