Blondes may have more fun, but that does not mean they are dumb.
A new national study of young baby boomers has reportedly proven that women with blonde hair are actually smarter than women with brown, red or black hair.
The study was conducted by a research scientist at Ohio State University.
The study included 10,878 white women. The study did not include black or Hispanic women.

The results showed that white women had an average IQ of 103.2 compared to 102.7 for those with brown hair, 101.2 for redheads, and 100.5 for women with black hair.
One explanation for the higher score could be that blondes in general grew up in homes with more reading material than did those with any other hair color. However, it was not explained why the homes of blondes had more reading material.
The study, which was recently published in the Economics Bulletin, was based on information collected by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
