It appears that college acceptance letters may become a thing of the past.

One school is now notifying its new students that they have been accepted via Snapchat.

The University of Wisconsin Green Bay started notifying students who have been accepted for admittance via Snapchat this year.

They also receive the traditional packet in the mail.

The social media specialist for UWGB says that their students love Snapchat and often respond with snaps showing their excitement of being accepted.
