Samsung is looking to bounce back from its Galaxy Note 7 explosion controversy with a new phone: the Galaxy A.
- Galaxy A is intended to be a low-cost alternative to the Galaxy S
- The devices are water and dust resistant and include a "selfie mode"
- Samsung will launch the Galaxy A in Russia late January. No word on when it will arrive in the U.S.
