Nothing says fall like hurling pumpkins through the air at more than 300 miles per hour.
That's exactly what happened at the annual Punkin Chunkin contest in Colorado this weekend. 18 teams from around the country competed for the grand prize.
Organizers say it takes thousands of dollars and hundreds of man hours to come up with the contraptions to launch the pumpkins through the air.
