A new poll says that Colin Kaepernick is the most disliked football player in the NFL.
29 percent say they don't like the quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers. The last time the poll was taken (2014), he was only disliked by 6 percent.
The reason given is the fact that Kaepernick has been kneeling during the national anthem before football games to draw attention to the treatment of African-Americans by law enforcement.
However, 42 percent of African-Americans who were polled like Kaepernick.
The other football players who topped the list were Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston (22%), Miami Dolphins defensive end Ndamukong Suh (21%), New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady (13%) and Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (10%).
1,100 football fans were polled, according to Sports Illustrated.
Kaepernick played college football at University of Nevada Reno.
