Nevada takes the #1 spot as 2021's most sinful state

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Is this any surprise? Nevada takes the #1 spot as 2021's most sinful state.

That's according to WalletHub, they ranked states using several metrics including excessive drinking and gambling problems.

California came in second place followed by Texas.

Wyoming came in last, as the least sinful all of the states.

Here are some of the categories used by WalletHub and where the "sinfulness of Nevada" was ranked (1=Most Sinful; 25=Avg.):

• 9^th – Anger & Hatred
• 2^nd – Jealousy
• 5^th – Excesses & Vices
• 1^st – Greed
• 4^th – Lust
• 29^th – Vanity
• 6^th – Laziness
