Paying rent is becoming more difficult to do in the U.S.

A new report from the National Low Income Housing Coalition shows workers on a national average need to make nearly $20 an hour to afford a modest one-bedroom apartment.

They would need to make about $24 an hour for a two-bedroom apartment.

Nevada ranks No. 23 in the study for affordable rent. Workers in Nevada making $20 an hour can usually afford a two-bedroom apartment.
