A puppy was stolen from a locked room at a Brooklyn, New York laundromat.
The owner says he locked the 3-month-old dog named Pippin inside an office, which had an electronic door release. However, a thief is seen on camera popping the electronic door before he grabbed the puppy and fled.
The puppy snatcher may have had an accomplice who distracted a laundry attendant.
The laundromat owner says he feels bad for his children who have lost their best friend.
“They’re in love with the dog,” Braulio Espinal told CBS 2 in New York. “It’s very sad... It’s hard for them to understand what happened at this point.”
