The London subway system is being invaded with pictures of cats.

The Citizens Advertising Takeover Service (CATS) was a crowdfunded campaign that raised over $26,000 to replace all the ads in the subway with pictures of kitties.

Glimpse, the British art collective behind the campaign, wanted to create more positive public spaces.

"Instead of asking you to buy something, we're asking you to think about what's really valuable in your life," said Glimpse founder James Turner in an interview with CNN. "It might not be cats, but it's probably something you can't find in the shops."
