Roseanne Barr is catching heat for last night's episode that featured a Muslim moving into the neighborhood.
Barr clapped back though. She says she wants to do episodes about real issues and real people.
In the episode, Roseanne fears that her new neighbors could be terrorists. By the end of the episode, she respects them and the episode makes fun of Roseanne's ignorance.
The show's staff say that Roseanne personally asked for the storyline because she wants to teach tolerance and compassion.
