A Las Vegas family's encounter with a rat has landed them a spot on "America's Funniest Home Videos."
Veronica Nelson says her son first spotted the rodent sitting on a curtain rod. She grabbed a garbage can and dust pan and attempted to scoop the animal up, but the plan didn't exactly work out.
Nelson says that when she got closer to it, she saw how big it was and she got a little spooked.
However, she thinks the rat was also spooked and it eventually ran towards the front door and the family let it outside.
The video clip will appear on "America's Funniest Home Videos" at 7 p.m. Sunday on Channel 13.
