A Las Vegas hotel mogul is making plans for a new kind of resort. But it won't be anywhere near the Las Vegas Strip.
Billionaire Robert Bigelow says he's creating a line of inflatable space stations that will serve as hotels. He plans to start selling reservations in 2021, and he estimates the cost of a room will be over seven figures.
Bigelow is also planning to invest millions of dollars to research the global space market need.
The private company, Bigelow Aerospace, was founded by the billionaire back in 1999.
