Teresa Mannion, a senior journalist for RTE News, was covering Storm Desmond, which forced thousands from their homes due to flooding.
Her report included intense visuals and impassioned please for the general public to stay safe.
Her dramatic report immediately caught the attention of the Internet and social media users began creating memes, inserting her into famous films.
