An 8-year-old Utah girl is receiving treatment after doctors diagnosed her with a rare form of breast cancer.

Chrissy Turner was diagnosed with secretory breast carcinoma on Nov. 9 after finding a suspicious lump in her breast and alerting her mother.
"She came to us on a Sunday afternoon; she said, 'Mommy I have been scared and I have this lump,'" Turner told ABC News. "It had been there for a while."
Her family, which had already been dealing with cancer in Chrissy’s father, is depending on a GoFundMe page to help raise money. Melissa Papaj, a family friend who set up the page, called Chrissy’s cancer one that "no specialist across the country has even seen in a child so young.”
The brave girl is receiving treatment at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, where doctors think she will be successfully treated.
"Chrissy will need to undergo a simple mastectomy...to remove all the remaining breast tissue to prevent this cancer from coming back,” her physician, Brian Bucher, told ABC News.
Meanwhile, Chrissy’s father is battling Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, which he was diagnosed with in August 2008.
