A woman and her family turned a two-day Delta Airlines delay into a massive haul.
Delta Airlines delays forced hundreds to camp out at airports, but for one lucky mother the long wait paid off.
"The flight kept getting delayed and there was a lovely woman at the desk and we just kind of kept begging her, and finally she got a manager to sign off and they signed off on the gift cards."
The family received accommodations for both nights they were inconvenienced and an estimated $11k in vouchers and gift cards.
It's safe to say that the family's next vacation will be as good or better than the one they were forced to miss.
