The story of a Washington couple's search for their beloved dog Katie has gone viral.
The couple was visiting Montana when Katie ran away.
For 2 months, they went to extremes to find their 7-year-old dog.
They looked for paw prints, checked abandoned buildings and bought game cameras and night-vision goggles.
They also ran ads and posted hundreds of photos of their dog.
That's when Carole King quit her job as a postal carrier so that she could search for their dog full time.
Katie was eventually found after someone reported a sighting.
