A Connecticut mother who was breastfeeding her baby says she was verbally abused for doing so inside a local Target store.
Jessie Maher says that a man told her it was disgusting to nurse in public and that the man was cursing and yelling at her.
Other people who were in the store disagreed with the man and came to her defense. One woman stood in front of Maher protectively and Target employees surrounded the man and directed him out of the store.
Maher caught the verbal attack on camera and posted the video on Facebook. The video quickly went viral. It has been viewed more than 5.9 million times.
