Bruce is a rescue dog that loves playing in the fenced dog area at Heritage Park. Wednesday was his first day back after he was bitten by another dog.
Part of his ear was ripped off in the attack. He had to wear a cone for several days.
Bruce's owner says she tried to talk with the male owner of the other dog right after the attack, but he took off without saying anything. She's now worried the aggressive dog may come back to hurt others.
"The dogs need to run. They need to get their exercise. They need to interact with other animals. I won't let this one person destroy that for him or anyone else," said Bruce's owner.
A police report was filed, but so far officers haven't found the owner of the aggressive dog.
