After running water flooded her apartment, a Las Vegas woman is upset with management that they're not doing enough to help.

Vernell Harding says she came home from work Saturday morning to the sight of water flooding through her ceiling and down her apartment walls.

"You turn a water faucet on and it's just pouring down," she said.

The flooding was the result of a bathtub overflowing in the apartment upstairs.

Hundreds of dollars in damage later, Harding and her daughter have been living in a hotel.

"I feel helpless," Harding said. "I don't know what to do. I just want to live and I don't know anything about none of this."

She believes Liberty Village management isn't helping her enough with the costs.

Harding said she wanted most to get out of the lease because the apartment is unlivable.

Action News went to the apartment office to find out what they're doing for Harding.

The complex manager told us Harding had already been released from her lease Monday night.

As for her clothes and makeup that were destroyed, management said Harding will have to go through her renter's insurance company for compensation.
