ORIGINAL STORY

PRIMM (KTNV) -- A female passenger was ejected after her car rolled over on northbound Interstate 15 at mile marker 2.

The crash happened around 3:12 a.m. A Nissan obeying the speed limit was rear-ended by a Tacoma with three occupants. The Tacoma flipped over, ejecting a female passenger.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other occupants were taken to the hospital, one in critical condition and one with non-life threatening injuries.

All three occupants of the Nissan were not transported.

An investigation by the Nevada Highway Patrol revealed that speed was a factor in the crash. The female Tacoma passenger was not wearing a seat belt.
