LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — UPDATE JAN. 5: The judge in the case has ruled in favor of Wayne Newton and his wife, saying the items are Newton's property.
The cases isn't fully over and all parties will return to court later next month to resolve further claims.

ORIGINAL STORY: Wayne Newton was in court Tuesday, taking the stand to testify in a court case where he is trying to get several personal items back.
It all started when he turned his Casa de Shenandoah into a museum and sold a majority of it to another party.
The house was later sold with the Newtons saying they were unaware of that sale, leading to the dispute over the personal items on the property.
Both Wayne Newton and his wife took the stand today in court.
