The Clark County Water Reclamation District computer system experienced a cyberattack on Friday.
According to a statement from spokesman Marty Flynn Monday, district staff shut down numerous computers as a precautionary measure while assessing the situation.
"District plant operations at all seven treatment facilities and customer service centers are functioning without interruptions," Flynn said. "Customer records and employee information were not affected by the situation."
The Water Reclamation District said law enforcement is investigating.
