Thousands of people are outraged after a video circulated on the internet showing someone killing a chicken at a house party near Charleston and Nellis boulevards.
13 Action News spoke with the party's coordinator who told us she had no idea someone was planning to kill a chicken at the party. The event was supposed to be about new music and enjoying each other's company, according to the event coordinator.
A woman who lives near the home where the party took place tells 13 Action News she heard the party going on and then, all of a sudden, it ended. She watched a bunch of teenagers head to their cars and take off. She believes this was directly following the killing of the chicken.
"It's upsetting because it is a chicken and whatever the case might be, it has feelings and it was a live animal, for them to do that," said the woman.

No one has been arrested for the incident so far.
