Nevada Highway Patrol troopers are used to arriving after a crash, not watching one happen. But that is exactly what happened while they were filming a PSA or public service announcement.
It happened on the new Interstate 11 bypass near Boulder City. In the video, you can see the car driving past and then a cloud of dust behind the trooper.
NHP says the driver fell asleep behind the wheel and the car hit a ditch. The car even went airborne briefly. However, no one was seriously hurt because everyone in the car was wearing a seatbelt.
