Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine is in Las Vegas on Thursday to encourage people to vote for himself and Hillary Clinton.

A rally started at 6:30 p.m. at the United Brotherhood of Carpenters training center on Placid Street. Kaine took the stage around 7:30 p.m.

During the rally, Kaine mentioned Donald Trump's pronunciation of Nevada, but also docked the Republican presidential candidate's views on Yucca Mountain and trade policy effects on tourism.

A protester was escorted out of the rally for yelling, "Bill Clinton is a rapist."
