The Vegas Golden Knights are getting ready for Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final. Fans across the valley are excited, but 13 Action News spoke with one woman who says the team has made an impact even off the ice.

Kayla Speten is a bartender at Moon Doggies Bar & Grill and usually works on game days. She says she has always worked hard to make sure her daughter can be involved in sports and activities, but since she has seen more customers this year because of the Knights games, she has also seen more tips.

Speten says has been able to put her daughter into dance classes, and even get her a museum pass with the extra money.  She says this wasn't possible last year before the Knights came to town.

"I do what I can to make sure she [gets involved], but it's been a lot easier this year just having that extra income," says Speten.
