Students host rally against Planned Parenthood

Posted at 8:08 PM, Mar 31, 2016
Students for Life of America, the nation's largest pro-life youth organization, visited UNLV with the We Don't Need Planned Parenthood campus tour Thursday.

The We Don't Need Planned Parenthood campus tour was developed after the Center for Medical Progress were released and other alternatives to Planned Parenthood were demanded from taxpayers who were tired of subsidizing the nation's largest abortion provider.

"Planned Parenthood does not provide comprehensive healthcare at all as qualified health centers do and they outnumber Planned Parenthood clinics immensely," said Clair Finley with UNLV's Students for Life organization.

13 Action News spoke to some students who didn't agree with the group.

"That's fine they can say whatever they want but in terms of what we should do..we should definitely support it," said one student walking by the display.

The display will travel to over 60 college campuses this spring, including, UNLV.
