Two people were seriously injured in a crash Monday afternoon.

It happened around 2:35 p.m. near Warm Springs Road and Gagnier Boulevard. Police said a Chevrolet Malibu crossed the shared center turn lane and hit a Chevrolet Silverado.

Investigators say there were two vehicles involved in a crash. There were reports of someone laying on the ground at the crash scene. It was unclear if that person was ejected from the vehicle, or was taken out and laid there.

Two people were transported to UMC Trauma. They were identified as 35-year-old Tyson Corcoran of San Marcos, Texas, who had critical injuries, and 27-year-old Heather Ronfeldt of Las Vegas. Corcoran was the driver of the Malibu while Ronfeldt was driving the Silverado.

Malibu passenger 30-year-old Amanda Hyde, of Corpus Christi, Texas, received minor injuries.
