UPDATE: Thousands of Las Vegas locals spent the night looking over their tickets, hoping to find the winning Powerball numbers: 6, 7, 16, 23, 26 with the Powerball of 4.
Unfortunately the only ticket with those numbers was sold in Massachusetts.
But don't throw your ticket away immediately.
Powerball officials say their were 9,397,724 tickets that won smaller prizes.
The largest prize ticket sold in California is worth $1 million.

Thousands of people have made the drive to Primm to buy Powerball tickets over the last few days.
Lottery tickets are not sold in the state of the Nevada and residents have to cross over the state line to buy a ticket.

A visit to the only store that sells lottery tickets in Primm on Wednesday morning revealed hundreds of people waiting in line. The jackpot is expected to be $700 million by the time the numbers are drawn on Wednesday night. It is the second largest jackpot in history.

Unfortunately, there is only a 0.0000003% chance it will be you.
Shortly before noon on Wednesday, hopeful winners were standing in line between 1 and 2 hours before being able to purchase a ticket.
